About Our Maine Coon Queens

Our Queens are more than just breeding cats; they are beloved members of our family, sharing our home alongside us and our two canine companions. Each Queen has her own unique personality and charm, bringing love, affection, and endless entertainment to our lives. We have carefully selected each Queen from reputable breeders here in Texas, choosing only those with excellent health, beautiful coats, and gentle dispositions. At CCMCC, we prioritize ethical breeding practices, ensuring our Queens are never overbred, and we don’t keep them separated or caged. Instead, they enjoy a true ‘queendom’ with us, where they can live freely, happily, and healthily. Explore our Queens below to see what makes each of them so special and how they contribute to the legacy of Corpus Christi Maine Coon Cats.

Ursa

This is the lovely and extremely affectionate Queen, Ursa Major. Affectionately nick-named "Monkey" for the way her front feet have what appear to be thumbs. Ursa is a polydactyl with 7 toes on each of her front feet and an extra toe on each of her hind feet. We hope it passes down to many if not all of her babies. It is an adorable bonus to go with her quirky personality. Born 1/30/24 she will be ready for breeding early to mid 2025. We predict she will be an amazing Momma as she is so sweetly attentive to those she is closest to and never seems tired of having someone near enough to touch. Ursa is always ready for any activity, exploring anything we are doing and happily laying deskside while I work. We never have to worry about being alone when doing things around the house or simply laying back to enjoy some downtime. This incudes shower time. She is not afraid of water in the least. Our lives are richer with her here hands down.

Se7en

Se7en is Our Supreme Queen though she will NOT be bred she was the main inspiration for sharing this breed with the world. She will stay with us and take on a God Mother role for our future kittens as well as a face for our company. We are blessed to have constant companionship and ever watching eyes. Don't let her resting b***h face fool you. She is a real sweet heart thru and thru. She and Ursa are practically inseparable partners in crime, they leave no cardboard box empty and no bag uncrumpled.

Vlada

This is the amazing Vlada our Russian Princess. She was imported to us from Moscow and is a "Torti" so we expect she will produce kittens with a variety of colors. We couldn't be more excited! She was born in July of 2024 so she is too young yet to breed but her cuddle game is on point and we expect she will be a wonderful mother someday. She has checked out with the vet and is in excellent health. Though she was shy at first she has really settled into the family quickly. Her first experience ever seeing a dog was uneventful as her curiosity put her instantly nose to nose with our Husky, I have never seen a cat take as naturally as she did to a new species so immediately with no prior experience. We will fill you in as she gets closer to being the next Queen in our happy Queendom here at Corpus Christ Maine Coon Cats.
